"I cannot say how men come to know the names of the angels...I can only tell you how the names came to me..."
New publication!
“By the Far Salt Lake”
My first-ever short story sale was to Beneath Ceaseless Skies, and the story is now live on their site! Also included in this issue is “Disassembling Light” by Kel Coleman — editor Scott Andrews does such a beautiful job of pairing stories, and I really enjoyed Kel’s story, with excellent audio narration from Maxine L. Moore.
Happy reading!
Thank you so much for this beautifully written story! I particularly love this piece: The man knew no prayers, but he understood the holiness of the day, so he simply chanted the aleph-bet, consoling himself that if every prayer was made of the aleph-bet, then surely if he chanted the letters long enough, they would arrange themselves into prayers on their way to God.
